How to use the Fireplace:
Slide the bottom vent doors open by pushing handle the LEFT
Open fireplace doors by pulling the RIGHT handle UP and opening door
Pull out the two metal seals halfway
Open flute by moving clockwise until knob is horizontal
Stack seasoned firewood spaced 1 inch apart. Stack 2 or 3-levels max
Place tinder and starter log on top (or bottom)
Light tinder and starter logs with a lighter and close the grate.
The fire will start due to the airflow from the bottom vent.
We recommend you keep the grate closed. But you can open it to see and enjoy the fire while you are present
Be aware of potential sparks that can start a fire if the wood is not fully dry and seasoned.
NEVER leave the fire unattended and when not present, close the front doors to minimize fire risk to the cabin or yourself.
To Put Out the Fire:
· Close the bottom vent by sliding knob to the right.
· Close the front doors of the fireplace
· Close the two metal seals on the chimney, but NOT the flute. The fire will burn down by itself
